Under pressure: soils under anthropogenic stress. Ecosystem services, remediation and management

The symposium is held in Lahti 15th-16th May 2017
This two days symposium hosted in the city of Lahti will gather international experts with the aim of discussing and presenting the current state of soil ecology with a focus on soils under anthropogenic stress.

Richard Pouyat, USDA

Jean Louis Morel, Université de Lorraine

Ole Nybroe, University of Copenhagen

During the symposium also the organising committee will present the results of the ECOGRAD project.". Have a look here.

 

The symposium is open to everybody free of charge. Master and doctoral students are particularly welcome.

Students who wish to present their work can apply for a talk. The deadline for abstract submission is the 24th of April. Upon a submission of an essay students giving a presentation will be granted 2 study credits. Students attending, but not giving a presentation, will be granted 1 study credit.

The venue will be the Aalto auditorium at Lahti Tiedepuisto, Niemenkatu 73.
