The Coordination Unit of the Lahti University Campus

The Coordination Unit of the Lahti University Campus aims to increase the regional impact of universities.

The vision of the Lahti University Campus 2023 strategy “Stronger Together” is to create sustainable ecosystems and synergies through collaboration. There are three strategic means: close and innovative cooperation between universities, commitment to long-term partnerships with stakeholders and active participation in the regional discourse. The Coordination Unit is a service unit for the universities in the region, which contributes to the implementation of the strategy through joint university communication, service and advocacy activities and events. It brings together people, universities, stakeholders and organisations, building bridges between universities and the region’s business community and enabling new openings to be put into practice.

The Coordination Unit also interacts closely with the LAB University of Applied Sciences. This cooperation includes staff meetings and public events as well as communication and marketing.

The unit is responsible for the coordination and operation of the Päijät-Häme LUMA Centre.
